MISSION CONTROL CENTER

The Mission Control Center at Creech Airforce Base in Nevada serves as the Mission Controls Center for the drones that are flown out of the base. The complex consists of three separate functions: the unclassified Command Area, the classified Squadron Operations Area and the classified Mission Control Station.

The Mission Control Complex is a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and is ATFP compliant. Areas of the complex include:

  • Command Area - Includes a reception and lobby area, orderly desk, commander administrative area, offices and squadron heritage room.

  • Squadron Operation Area - Provides administrative space for ongoing squadron operations

  • Mission Control Station - Utilizes a rigid grid raised access floor system

  • Hangar - Equipped with an overhead crane capable of lifting 7.5 tons

  • Supply Area - Houses equipment and materials receipt

  • Support Area - Space for tools and storage
